1. Anthropic launches Claude Tag.

It replaces Anthropic’s existing Slack app and is designed to learn company context from internal messages, then perform tasks like drafting pull requests and finding data when tagged. This is Anthropic’s clearest move yet to embed itself inside daily enterprise workflows.

2. Meta launches cheaper $299 Meta Glasses.

The move makes AI-equipped everyday glasses materially cheaper without relying on a luxury eyewear partner Ray-Ban.

Familiar is a touch-sensitive, plush-furred home robot with 23 moving joints and face recognition. It is designed to learn household routines and behave more like a roommate than a gadget.

5. OpenAI and Broadcom unveil first custom chip:

OpenAI shipped its first custom-designed chip, code-named Jalapeño, in partnership with Broadcom. It is built specifically for LLM inference and is already in sampling with Microsoft and other cloud partners. This is OpenAI’s first real step away from buying from Nvidia.
