PLAUD Note is a pocket-sized AI voice recorder that clips onto the back of your phone or slips into a pocket. It records in-person conversations, phone calls, and online meetings, then transcribes and summarizes them with AI so you get a searchable record of what was said.
PLAUD says it bridges these three capture modes (in person, phone, online) into a single workflow, and reports more than 2 million users worldwide. PLAUD Note pairs with a companion app and integrates with tools like Zapier, so recordings can flow automatically into other software for further processing.
Alec Saluga brought PLAUD Note on screen as the hardware recorder in his stack. It snaps onto the back of his phone, so it is always on hand for the calls and in-person meetings that never get scheduled through a laptop. Once a conversation is recorded, PLAUD routes the transcript out through Zapier. In one setup, the recordings land in Google Drive, and from there Claude reads the transcript and turns it into notes, summaries, or next steps, no manual copying or typing required.
We keep PLAUD Note in the stack because it solves the part of AI workflows most people skip: getting the conversation into text in the first place. A phone can record audio, but a dedicated device that hands off cleanly to Zapier removes a step.
