What is three.js?

three.js is a free, open-source JavaScript 3D library. It wraps WebGL so developers can render 3D scenes, animations, and interactive graphics directly in the browser, and its site hosts a large gallery of live examples and demos.

How and why we use three.js at AI4NTP

Ian never learned JavaScript ("I'd miss a semicolon and just blow the whole thing up"), and he still shipped the WebGL-animated AG4NTS site in about three hours in Session 007. His OpenClaw wrote the WebGL work: the exploding fours, the noise-into-signal dots, the text that unfolds on scroll. He showed the three.js demo gallery live, including the Tiny Skies world, as proof you can build whole interactive worlds this way.

The lesson for non-coders is the whole AI4NTP thesis: you no longer have to be the front-end developer, you have to know what you want. Describe the animation, point at an example, and let the agent pick the library. Ian started in web design 28 years ago, when you could center text and tile a background; this is the version of the craft he always wanted.
